Perryton Assistant Chief Scott Glass, injured in a fall while setting up a hoseline, has died.
Glass was flown to a trauma center in Amarillo after he and two other firefighters fell when a five-inch line whipped at a structure fire Thursday night. He died of his injuries on Sunday.
The incident occurred when a vehicle ran over the line, popping a coupling, causing three firefighters to fall, the U.S. Fire Administration reported Monday morning.

Funeral arrangements will be posted when they become available.
This brings to 49 the number of firefighters to die while on duty this year, the USFA reported.
Firefighter Thomas Beal. who sustained a head injury and multiple fractures, was released after treatment and observation.
Firefighter Jacob Anderson suffered minor injuries and was treated and released, city officials wrote in a release.
